Tyler English

Tyler English began his racing career at the age of sixteen at Florence Motor Speedway.  His first experience in a race car occurred during a practice session on a Saturday in October.  Shortly thereafter, he began racing at Florence Motor Speedway in the 01 Chevrolet Nova.  He competed in the remaining six races in the season and finished in the top five in every race but one.  After the 2006 season ended, construction on a new race car began.  The offseason was a chance to look back at the success of the little experience he had.  The end of the offseason yielded a brand new, black, number 11, open-wheel modified charger car to be run at “The New Dillon Motor Speedway.”  The 2007 season was challenging due to learning the new track and learning the new car.  However, his first full season brought very rewarding results.  He completed the season with a majority of top five finishes, a third place finish in the Palmetto Nissan 250 at Florence Motor Speedway, a third place finish in the Seneca Shootout at “The New Dillon Motor Speedway,” and fourth place in the overall points standings at “The New Dillon Motor Speedway.”
